The Raab Writing Fellows Program in the Writing Program at UC Santa Barbara is funded by a generous gift from Dr. Diana Raab.

Diana Raab

Diana is a published memoirist, editor, poet, blogger, and inspirational speaker. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in Transpersonal Psychology with a research focus on the healing and transformative powers of memoir writing. Her educational background also includes health administration, nursing, and creative writing.

Diana’s diverse body of work includes numerous articles, memoirs (Regina’s Closet: Finding My Grandmother’s Secret Journal and Healing with Words: A Writer’s Cancer Journey), and poetry collections (Lust). Her recent book, Writing for Bliss, focuses on the power of storytelling and personal reflection.

The Raab Writing Fellows Program is fortunate to have Dr. Raab’s support. Diana understands the power of writing to transform and empower individuals.
